Rochgate Cottages - Terms & Conditions
Booking & Cancellation We will need a 10% deposit when a booking is accepted. This is not refundable in the event that you need to cancel.
If you do need to cancel please give us at least two months notice in writing, otherwise you will still be liable for the full balance for the booking. In the event that you cancel within two months of the holiday date we will endeavour to re-let the property and will refund the full price (less the deposit) in the event that we are successful in doing so.
Payment Full payment of the outstanding balance will need to be made on arrival. We can take payment as cheque or cash.
Occupancy Rooms will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. You are not allowed to bring more guests than the cottage can accommodate (party of 5 or 6). If you do breach this condition you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.
Loss or Damage to Property During your stay you are responsible for the cottage, its contents and keys and you agree to take reasonable care of it and to keep it clean and tidy. Any breakages or damage must be paid for at the time.
In the event of any problems with equipment and fittings during the stay please advise us immediately and we will do our best to rectify the problem as soon as possible.
We do not accept, nor cannot be held liable, for any loss or damage to your personal property or possessions.
Parking There is off road parking for two cars outside the cottage. Please ask if you wish to bring more cars than this or boats etc. Vehicles are parked at owner's risk and we cannot accept responsibility either for vehicles or their contents.
Pets Pets are accepted on the basis that they are not left alone on the property and are kept under control at all times. They are not permitted in the bedrooms or on furniture and you must accept responsibility for cleaning up any mess that your pet makes.
Maintenance We reserve the right to enter the property at any reasonable time to carry out any repairs which are necessary to the property or equipment. Grass cutting, other gardening and window cleaning are weather dependant and may sometimes need to be carried out on weekdays during your stay.
Complaints We want you to be happy during your stay. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your accommodation or if there is anything that we can do to make your stay more comfortable then please let us know. In turn if you cause disruption to other guests or the owners, you may be asked to leave
